Hospitals blamed for recycling single-use devices

An associated press article has detailed the problems that have arisen from hospitals around the country recycling products that were intended to be used only once. Although the practice is seemingly not widespread, injuries and deaths have allegedly been caused by reconditioned medical devices. Congress is planning hearings in the fall.
